1. APPLICATION:
The pressure reducer is used for pressure reduction in water and other systems, where no
aggressive or explosive media are present. The output pressure can be adjusted and does not
change when input pressure changes. The output pressure is adjusted by turning the green
hand wheel. Rotation over indicated values can damage the valve. After every adjustment of
the output pressure, the regulated line must be opened and closed.
2. SPECIFICATIONS:
Maximum pressure:
max. 16 bar
Adjustable pressure:
1,5- 6 bar
Maximum temperature:
max. 40°C
Minimum pressure reduction:
1 bar
3. INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS:
Flush the system well before installation. It is recommended to install the reduer horizontally
with the filter facing downwards. Note the flow direction which is shown by the arrow on
the valve body. For proper functioning a straight section of the pipework of at least 5xDN
must be provided up and downstream from the reducer. The enclosed manometer should
be screwed onto the regulator (it can be connected on both sides of the regulator). Install
shut-off valves both upstream and downstream from the reducer.
4. MAINTENANCE:
Maintenance by authorized installers in accordance with DIN 1988 is recommended. The
condition of the filter inside the reducer should be checked several times a year and the filter
regularly cleaned or replaced with a new one when necessary.
