Making Frozen Desserts
Note:

When assembling, dismantling or cleaning, always ensure that the appliance

is switched to

“OFF” and is not connected to the power supply.

1.  Prepare recipe ingredients from this manual or use your own recipes prior to

assembling the Ice Cream Machine. Liquids increase in volume during the freezing
process; therefore, the maximum amount of liquid used must not exceed

2

 cups.

IMPORTANT:

Do NOT remove freezing canister from freezer until recipe is

prepared. It is critical to keep the freezing canister as cold as possible prior to
assembling Ice Cream Machine.

2.  Assemble the Ice Cream Machine:

a. Push the outer bowl on to the support stand.
b. Remove the freezing canister from the freezer.  Place the freezing canister

inside the outer bowl.

c. Place the mixing paddle into the freezing canister, with the auger end in the

hole in the bottom of the freezing canister.

d. Place the cover on the outer bowl. Align the arrow on the cover with the arrow

on the outer bowl, then turn the cover clockwise to lock firmly in place.

e. Place the motor unit into the cover. You will hear a click when it is properly

assembled.

f.  With the dispensing assembly in the

opened

 position, place it on the

underside of the outer bowl, with the handle facing to your left. Align the tabs
on the top of the dispensing assembly with the guides on the outer bowl. Push
up firmly to ensure that the dispensing assembly is over the seal ring and turn
the dispensing assembly

counterclockwise

until the handle is facing the front

of the machine. Lift the handle so it is completely in the

closed

g. Plug the cord in to a 120 volt, AC electrical outlet

ONLY

3.  Turn the

“ON/OFF” knob to “ON”.

Note:

The Ice Cream Machine must be on before

adding ingredients.  This prevents the mixture from immediately freezing on the
inside of the freezing canister, which may stop the movement of the mixing paddle.

4.  Slowly pour the prepared ice cream mixture into the freezing canister through the

opening at the front of the lid.

Note:

Do not fill above the “MAX” fill line, 2 cups of

liquid. This will prevent overflow during ice cream expansion.

5.  Leave the machine on for approximately 15 to 25 minutes, or until mixture is of

the desired consistency.

Do NOT

turn the Ice Cream Machine off during use as

the mixture may freeze up and stop the movement of the mixing paddle.

6.  When ready to dispense, place a cup, bowl, or cone directly below the dispensing

assembly. Push down the dispensing lever. Note: Some liquid may come out
when first dispensing. Use a cup or bowl to collect the liquid, then proceed with
filling your bowl or cone. When dispensing is complete, lift the dispensing lever to
stop.

7.  When dispensing is complete,

or

after 40 minutes of continuous use,

or

 if the

motor stops while dispensing, turn the “ON/OFF” knob to “OFF” and remove the
cover. If there is any ice cream remaining in the canister, use a rubber, plastic, or
wooden utensil to remove it.

Do NOT

use metal utensils, including ice cream

scoops, they will damage the interior surface of the freezing canister. If you prefer
a firmer consistency, place ice cream into an airtight container and place in the
freezer until it reaches the desired consistency.
