After the oil has completely drained, replace
the sealing washer (2) with a new one and
reinstall the drain plug.
î
To drain the oil, remove the oil filler cap and
drain plug (1).
Drain engine oil with the engine warm and
park the motorcycle on its main stand.
ENGINE OIL REPLACEMENT
PROCESS

Start the engine and allow it to idle for few
minutes.
î
Stop the engine and let the engine oil settle
down.
î
Fill the crankcase through the filler hole with
0.75 litre (approx.)of the recommended
grade oil.
î
Reinstall the oil filler cap.
î
Reinstall oil filler cap & check for oil leaks.
î
Quantity of the oil to be filled is 0.75 litre
(approx.) during oil change.

Re check the oil level.
î
Make sure that oil level is at the upper level
mark of the oil window with the motorcycle
in an upright position, and that there are no
oil leaks.

Running the engine with excessive oil can
cause spark plug fouling & loss in
performance.
î
Engine oil is a major factor affecting the
performance and service life of the engine.
Non-detergent, vegetable or castor based
racing oils are not recommended.
î
Running the engine with insufficient oil can
cause serious engine damage.
To safely operate your motorcycle, the tyres
must be of recommended type and size, in
good condition with adequate tread, and
correctly inflated.
