After stopping the motorcycle, shift the
transmission into neutral and turn the
i g n i t i o n s w i t c h " O F F " . P a r k t h e
motorcycle on main stand, lock the
steering and remove the key.
All your actions should be smooth
under these conditions. Sudden
acceleration, braking or turning may
cause loss of control. For your safety,
exercise extreme caution when
braking, accelerating or turning.
When descending a long steep slope
use engine braking (power) by
changing to lower gears, with
intermittent use of both brakes.
Continuous brake application can
overheat the brakes and reduce their
effectiveness.
1. Always lock the steering and never
leave the key in the ignition switch .
2. Park your motorcycle in a locked
garage whenever possible.
3. Use an additional anti-theft device of
good quality.
4. Put your name, address and phone
number in this Owner's Manual and
keep it in your motorcycle at all times.
