EXTERNAL AIR INTAKE CONNECTION Φ80mm OPTION-

Your appliance is prepared to be fitted with an air inlet
from the outside if desired. You can order the connec-
tion socket (9921255) to be fitted on the bottom right-
hand side of the appliance.

When fitting the external air intake, you must close
the opening of the ashtray mask completely by turn-
ing the ashtray mask knob clockwise (Fig. 5).
Once you have installed the hearth, check that all
joints have been sealed in order to prevent air seeping
in, which would have a negative effect on the draw.
Before lining the hearth with bricks or any other mate-
rial, make sure it works correctly.
When lighting the hearth for the first time, it is advisa-
ble to open the windows in order to evacuate the
fumes and smells that may be caused by the combus-
tion of the solvents used in the protective paint or of
any other material.
Boiler: in the first on, is possible a slight wall defor-
mation due to hydraulic tests during the manufactur-
ing process and quality control. These slight defor-
mations do not affect the boiler safety and quality.
ADJUSTMENT VALVE.
Your fireplace has an adjustment valve that allows you
to regulate the combustion.
Pull towards you to open the valve and away from you
to close it (Fig. 6).

FIRST LIGHTING.
When lighting the hearth for the first time we recom-
mend a slow fire for 3 to 4 hours. This will help stabi-
lise the different components and avoid any possible
breakages.
When lighting the stove, first prepare a bed of paper
on the based on the cast iron grille. Then, place a layer
of sticks or firewood. Before lighting this paper base,
you should place a piece of paper on the vermiculite
baffle via the front door, and light it. This produces a
rapid warming of the chimney, expelling the cold air
inside (especially on cold winter days), and generates
