Provide an appropriately secured stepladder for carrying out any work at the device.

Switch the device off at the mains switch, pull the mains plug and secure against re-
starting.

To open the device, slightly loosen the three screws at the upper side; they remain
on the device (see picture).

Open the hood towards the front (guided). The hood is secured and cannot fall
down.
Make sure that no one is staying under the device or in the swivel area of the hood.

Unscrew the screws 1 at the respective lamp slide-in unit and cautiously pull the
lamp slide-in unit out of the device.

Unscrew both knurled nuts 2 of the lamp retainer.
