PHYGMOMANOMETER
This blood pressure monitor conforms to the non-invasive
sphygmomanometers – Part 1: requirements and test
methods for non-automated measurement types (EN ISO
81060-1).
All Calibration testing – at least every two years –, has
to be carried out either by the manufacturers or the
local authorised dealer in accordance with the relevant
distributor directives.
Keep this unit from being knocked or dropped, and pro-
tect it from dirt and moisture. Care has to be taken not to
puncture the cuff with any sharp instruments (Scissors,
Needles). Do not inflate to above 300 mmHg !
Measurement time should be ca. 2 minutes maximum.
Between 2 measurements allow an interval of at least 2
minutes.
Please use only Henry Schein cuffs.
Place cuff in such a manner that the lower cuff edge
finishes ca. 2 – 3 cm above the elbow and the centre of
the rubber bag rests on top of the artery.

INTRODUCTION:
Inflate the cuff to above the systolic pressure. The air
release speed can be adjusted by rotating the valve
screw.
The World Health Organisation (WHO) recommends a
deflation speed of 2 – 3 mmHg per second.
After the measurement is completed, fully open the air
release valve to allow for the fast deflation of the cuf
f.
Measurement range: 0 – 300 mmHg
Accuracy of Pressure indication: ± 3 mmHg
Storing conditions:–30°C–70°C,15–85% rel. humidity
Operating conditions:20°C–70°C,20–85% rel. humidity
– To clean the unit only use a dry, soft cloth.
– To clean the cuff – remove the rubber bag. The exte-
rior of the cuff can then be washed by hand at a maxi-
mum temperature of 30 degrees Celsius.
We recommend non-alcoholic disinfection wipes or liq-
uid to disinfect the device.
For repair work, please send the instrument carefully
packed to you local Henry Schein Office.
