Loosen the fixing screws to open the terminal box.
Before closing the encoder approx. 6 mm³ of
Loctite 243
is to be applied onto the top turns of the
thread of each of the two threaded holes of the encoder. For closing the encoder put on the terminal
box to the encoder.

Overvoltage at the connection terminals must be limited to overvoltage - class - II values.
Please avoid shocks to the housing - especially to the encoder shaft - and axial or radial overload to
the encoder shaft.
Maximum accuracy and durability of our shaft encoders are only guaranteed when using suitable
couplings.
