In STICK/MMA Welding (SMAW), for the connection
of the ground cable connector check for correct
polarity for the electrode you are going to use, refer
to the information on its box.
Most of the electrodes requires to connect the ground
cable on the negative (minus) connector -

By entering the BASIC SETUP menu it is possible to
adjust the VCut parameter. See Basic SETUP section.
The
VCut
parameter varies the TIG lift arc extingui-
shing voltage to avoid defects on the welded piece.
Aut (Automatic):
the extinguishing voltage varies with the
set current (DEFAULT value)
15 V - 40 V:
a fixed arc extinguishing length can be set
oFF:
extinguishing voltage is the same as the no-load
voltage of the generator
