1.0 General
The Hella rotating beacon for 230V/
50 Hz mains connection is intended
for securing workshop cranes, hazardous drive ways, safety
equipment and anti-theft warning
systems.
2.0 Mounting
Mount the rotating-beam lamp
vertically on a level, smooth surface.
Drill mounting holes and hole for
cable according to hole pattern. The
rubber base can be used as a
drilling template. The rotating
3.0 Electrical Connection
Connect the beacon to the mains
using moist-room cable
2 x 1,5 sq. mm. Ensure that the
beacon must be fixed to the
mounting point as desired with the
enclosed rubber base with three M6
bolts from the top and bottom or
with three, 4.2 mm dia.self-tapping
sheet metal screws from below.
4.0 Changing Bulb
Screw out retaining screw, unhook
light dome and remove by turning to
left (see figure).
Remove defective bulb and replace
with new bulb Hella Part No. 8GS
002 383-001, type 230 V /25 W C2
DIN 49812. Then reattach light
dome, lock and secure with
retaining screw.
Caution:
Ensure that mains power is
shut off when working on
motor or bulb socket!
