Slope
Use this slide control to adjust the slope of the filter in 6 dB increments from “0 dB” per octave
(filter not active) to a maximum of “-42 dB” per octave on the C-DSP and a maximum of 30 dB per
octave on the P-DSP (= filter with very steep slope). The effect of the slope on the frequency cha

racteristics of a filter is illustrated below using the example of a 1000 Hz high- and low-pass (with
Butterworth characteristic):
