Installation and Operating Instructions
> Configuration menu: PID Const.
Setting the control curve, only after consultation with the manufacturer (Fig. 13).
> Configuration menu: Temperature sensor
The setpoint temperature is reached and maintained at the sensor.
> Configuration menu: CO
2
concentration
Setting for the dependence of speed on CO
2
concentration (for installed and active sensor). Once the set
value has been exceeded, the unit switches to a higher speed. If the CO
2
concentration reduces, the unit
switches to a lower stage. With regard to the
“User-specific setting”
, the limits of the individual speed
stages are automatically adjusted using the history of user interventions.
Example:
The limit value 600 ppm is set for the 3rd speed stage. However, the controller has registered
that the user has manually increased the speed at this CO
2
concentration. Once the “User-specific setting”
key has been pressed, the concentration limit for the 4th speed change will automatically change to 600
ppm.
The CO
2
concentration setting has no significance for the 1st speed stage. If the CO
2
concentration does
not fall below the set value, the ventilation unit will not switch off but it will continue to run at the 1st speed
stage.
> Configuration menu: RH concentration (relative humidity)
Setting for the dependence of speed on the rel. humidity (for installed and active sensor). The rel. humidity
is specified in %. If the set values are exceeded, the ventilation unit will switch to a higher speed. If the va-
lues reduce, the ventilation unit switches to a lower stage. With regard to the
“User-specific setting”
, the
limit ranges of the individual speed stages are automatically adjusted using the history of user interventions
(see example above). The rel. humidity setting has no significance for the 1st speed stage. If the rel. hu-
midity does not fall below the set value, the ventilation unit will not switch off but it will continue to run at
the 1st speed stage.
> Configuration menu: Air quality sensor (connected sensor)
Connected sensors must be labelled by type (CO
2
/ humidity RH) and connection point (to ALB main
unit / to extract air unit) for the correct functioning of the controller.
If the tick is in the “None“ row, the controller will ignore the connected sensors. In order to control the fan
stages according to the air quality sensors, automatic mode must be selected in the menu
Unit mode
. In
case of two connected sensors, the fan stage will be controlled according to the sensor that triggers the hig-
her fan stage. The speed set by the user will be kept constant in manual mode..
