4.0 Functional description SKR../KR..
The rectangular centrifugal fans SKR../KR.. can be controlled in different speed stages by means of a speed control
unit or electronically (continuous).
NOTE!
In case of strong vibrations and/or noises, maintenance must be carried out by a specialist according to
chapter 1.4.
5.0 Opening the casing
CAUTION!
Risk of injury when opening the casing due to the swinging motor impeller unit!
Do not stand in the swing/opening area! Note information on the device (KR..)!

1. Disconnect unit from the power supply and secure it against being switched on again!
2. Loosen the outer fastenings, Remove cover (Fig. 5).
3. Loosen screws on motor mount (Fig.6) and swing out motor impeller unit (Fig.7).

2. Loosen the motor mount cover fastenings, Swing out motor impeller unit (Fig. 8/9).
5.1 Cleaning
WARNING!
An insulation/installation fault may result in electric shock!
Before cleaning, isolate the fan from the mains power supply and protect against being switching on again!
WARNING!
The unexpected rotating impeller can crush fingers.

– Clean casing and impeller with a damp cloth
– The motor must not come into contact with water!
– Do not use aggressive cleaning agents that could damage the paintwork!
– High pressure cleaners or water jets are not permitted!
