8.3 Standstill and disposal
m
WARNING
When dismantling, live parts can be exposed, which can result in electric shock if touched. Before dismant-
ling, isolate the unit from the mains power supply and protect against being switching on again!
Parts and components of the fan, whose service life has expired, e.g. due to wear and tear, corrosion, mechanical load,
fatigue and/or other effects that cannot be directly discerned, must be disposed of expertly and properly after disassem-
bly in accordance with the national and international laws and regulations. The same also applies to auxiliary materials
in use. Such as oils and greases or other substances. The intended and unintended further use of worn parts, e.g.
impellers, rolling bearings, filters, etc. can result in danger to persons, the environment as well as machines and
systems. The corresponding operator guidelines applicable on-site must be observed and used.

Motor start error
If a start command is present (enabled and set
value > 0) and the motor does not begin rota-
ting in the right direction within 5 minutes, an
error message is issued.
If it is possible to start the motor in the
set rotation direction after the error mes-
sage, the error message disappears.
After an intermediate voltage interruption,
the time measurement begins again until
deactivation. Check whether motor can
rotate freely. Check whether fan is pro-
pelled backwards by airflow (behaviour
during rotation by airflow in backwards
direction).

Mains voltage too low
If the intermediate circuit voltage falls below the
set limit value, the unit is deactivated.
If the mains voltage increases above the
limit value again within 75 sec., the unit is
automatically restarted. If the mains vol-
tage stays below the limit value for longer
than 75 sec., the unit is deactivated with
an error message.

Mains voltage too high
Cause – input voltage too high.
If the mains voltage increases above the set
limit value, the motor is deactivated.
If the mains voltage falls below the limit
value again within 75 sec., the unit is
automatically restarted. If the mains vol-
tage stays above the limit value for longer
than 75 sec., the unit is deactivated with
an error message.

Peak current error
If the motor current (even transient) increases
above a set limit value, the unit is deactivated.
After deactivation, the controller waits for
a period of 5 sec. and then restarts the
unit again. After 5 deactivations within 60
sec. the unit is deactivated definitively.
Otherwise the counter is reset.
