Installation and Operating Instructions
1. Loosen slotted screw on actuator with a
fat-headed screwdriver and remove the actuator
from the 3-way mixing valve.
2. Set the operating switch (1) to manual operation.
To do so, turn it 90° clockwise with a screwdriver,
so that the slot is in the horizontal position
and the arrowhead is pointing to the hand symbol
(Fig. 12).
The actuator is in automatic mode when delivered
and during normal operation . The operating switch
(1) is consequently pointing to position “A” .
3. Remove the rotary handle (6), serrated washer (5)
and screw (4) from the hollow shaft (8).
4. Turn the viewing panel (7) by 180°, so that the
red area is facing upwards (Fig. 13).
The rotary handle should only be pressed lightly
into a locked position . It is now pointing to the red
area . Please do not apply force to the hollow shaft
5. Replace rotary handle (6) on hollow shaft (8) and
turn 90° into the blue area (Fig. 14).

Material damage due to incorrect handling!
The forced manual operation of the rotary handle
in automatic mode can lead to damage of the gear
mechanism. Always switch to manual mode before
manually operating the rotary handle.
6. Reset operating switch (1) back to Automatic mo-
de. To do so, turn it left with a screwdriver to turn
it 90° anti-clockwise so that the slot is in the vert-
ical position and the arrowhead is pointing to “A”
(Fig. 15).
The actuator is prepared for installation on the
3-way mixing valve .
