Installation:
Make sure that the connection values of your building installation for the power supply to the
stone plug comply with the data stated on the name plate of this product.
All the work has to be done in a voltageless state. Disconnect the mains plug from the voltage
supply to do this.
We recommend the use of a residual current operated protection device when the product is
being used outdoors. Observe the local regulations. The installation of a differential relay can
sometimes be absolutely necessary in certain areas.
The stone plug can only be put into service in an upright position.
Decide on the location where installation has to take place. Make sure that no water can
collect at the location of the stone plug.
Make sure that the base is suitable to support the weight of the stone plug permanently and
reliably. Suitable bases are level surfaces, such as a stone or a concrete base.
Make sure before connecting to a consumer device that the maximum load of the stone plug
does not exceed 3680W. The plugs must not be plugged in one after the other.
The stone plug must not be moved while it is being connected to the voltage supply.
Fasten the extension cable into the cable channel provided for this purpose in the base of the
stone plug to prevent the cable from becoming damaged.
Make sure that there are no obstacles in the walking area when laying the cable.
Do not bend the cable, make sure that the cable and the plug are free from strain and
rotational forces. Protect the stone plug and the cables from possible damage.
Connection is made to the power supply by inserting the plug into a socket.
Switch off the power supply if you are away for a longer period of time.
The stone plug must not be covered.
The name plate must not be removed.
