The alarm system with magnetic sensor that can operated from a keypad detects
unlawful intrusion through a window or door, and can be activated or deactivated
using the preset 4-digit security code.
Activating the batteries:
The alarm unit comes supplied with 2 Mignon/AA batteries. To prevent the batteries
becoming flat, a separating film has been inserted. This must be removed prior to use.
It is important to read these instructions before installation.
Inserting the battery:
- Open the battery compartment using a suitable screwdriver. Insert two Mignon/AA
batteries, paying attention to the polarity indicated in the battery compartment.
Installation:
1-Select a window or door to be secured by the alarm unit
and mark where you want to install both parts.
2-Only one installation screw is needed for the alarm unit and turn
so it protrudes 5 mm. The alarm unit is suspended on the screw.
3-Attach the magnetic part of the double-sided adhesive tape.
4-Make sure that the alarm unit and the magnetic part are parallel to each other and the
arrows are pointing directly at each other. Low power indicator
5-The distance between the two parts must not exceed 10 mm.
6-The magnetic part can be mounted on both sides of the alarm unit.
7-Check that the alarm unit is functioning properly.
Note: Batteries must be replaced when the red LED lights up.
Code programming:
The unit can be activated and deactivated with the help of your preset security codes. Set the security code
as follows:
1-Enter the factory default security code “0000” and press “*”. The alarm unit indicates that the setting of the safety
code is running by a single beep.
2-Enter you own security code (up to four digits) and press
"*" again. A beep will confirm your setting. Your security code can now be used
to activate/deactivate the door alarm and the outdoor siren.
3-Repeat the steps described above to change the security code,
but use your old security code instead of the number preset in the factory.
Operation:
Simply enter the security code and press the "#" symbol.
The alarm unit will beep and the red LED indicator lights turn off.
This indicates that the alarm is activated. 20 seconds after you leave the monitored zone, the red LED goes on and
the unit is in full alert.
If the alarm device detects that a secured door or secured window is opened,
the alarm unit will beep several times to indicate that the unit is activated. You then have approx.10 seconds to deactivate
the unit.
To deactivate, simply enter the security code on the keypad and press the "#" symbol again.
The alarm device emits double beeps to indicate it has been deactivated.
If the alarm device is not deactivated within 10 seconds, the unit emits a loud alarm signal
for about 60 seconds and alerts the occupants. To deactivate the unit under these conditions, simply enter the
security code on the keypad and press the "#" symbol again. The alarm device emits double beeps
to indicate it has been deactivated. (If the security code is not entered, a loud alarm
will sound for approx. 60 seconds. The unit remains active and the magnetic sensor detects an alarm again.)
Panic button:
Pressing the panic button triggers the alarm. To stop the alarm, enter the 4-digit code and confirm this with the # key.
Caution: Keep away from children! Only operate the unit in dry, indoor rooms.
