Use and Placement

The Hegel Röst should be placed on a flat,
hard surface for proper cooling. A certain
space is required for air circulation above
and below the amplifier. The Amplifier must
never be placed on a carpet or similar sur-
face that obstructs air circulation through the
unit. Nor should it be covered while in use or
placed on a narrow shelf or other confined
space.

The Amplifier needs some break-in time
before maximum sound quality can be
experienced.

Never lift the amplifier by holding around the
volume knob or input selector knob. Röst is
heavy, and applying pressure may damage
the knobs.

The amplifier will automatically switch itself
off if overheated.

The amplifier will need some break-in time
before maximum sound quality can be
experienced.

AirPlay works with iPhone, iPad and iPod touch with iOS
4.3.3 or later, Mac with OS X Mountain Lion or later, and
PC with iTunes 10.2.2 or later.
