I. Install Termination Cap
WARNING! Risk of Fire!
The minimum overlap of cap to
pipe (as shown in the following illustrations) MUST be
met or chimney may separate from cap. Separation
allows sparks, heat and embers to escape.
Install the chimney sections up through the chase enclo-
sure.
•
Caulk the overlap seam of any exposed pipe sections
that are located above the roof line to prevent leaks.
•
Refer to termination cap instructions.
•
Paint the chimney system above the roof line to improve
asthetics and corrosion resistance.
