If installing a vertical vent/
termination off the top of the appli-
ance, the flue restrictor should be
used. See Figure 7.9.

Part of the refractory must be removed before installing
the vertical baffle.
1. Remove the screws holding the refractory retainers in
place. See Figure 7.8.

2. Remove the retainers.
3. Remove the right or left side refractory (only one side
must be removed) by gently raising the front of the top
refractory and lifting the side piece up slightly and pulling
out. See Figure 7.9.
Push & hold the
front edge up.

4. Remove top by gently lowering toward side just removed
and gently twisting out. See Figure 7.10.
