2. Component Identification and Assembly 

 

Your Vitae Cassette Stove is shipped securely packed and strapped. Carefully remove any straps and 
remove all wood, cardboard and any plastic packaging, open the door and remove all the contents. 
See List of Components section and check contents carefully. 

2.1

 

To remove the baffle plate, carefully lift the front and slide forward until it drops through the pegs, slide 
the baffle down and remove through the front door. Then remove the two side firebricks and the two 
rear firebricks. Handle & store very carefully to one side where they will not get broken. 

2.2

 

Now lift and remove the riddle grate and grate from the stove. 

2.3

 

Now proceed to install the stove according to these instructions and current installation standards or 
HETAS advice. The internal parts of the stove can be re-assembled as the reverse of the previous 
removal instructions.
