Montgomery Facade Model 94-5110010 / 94-5110020
Install the facade (Figure 05):
1. Attach the springs included in the bag of parts to the tabs on the ceiling inside the
fireplace.
2. Open the door slightly, then maneuver the facade into place with the steel frame of
the facade fitting into the frame of the fireplace.

Reach into the fireplace and attach the springs installed in step 1 to the holes in the
upper corners of the facade frame. Use pliers to help hold the hook of the spring.
4.
Firmly push the facade to the fireplace, fitting the facade frame inside the fireplace
frame.
Secure the facade (Figure 06):
1. Open the Blower door.
2. Secure the facade using the 2 self-drilling screws provided. Drive the screws
through the slots in the facade frame into the metal frame of the fireplace. (There are
no pre-drilled pilot holes)
Note: non-combustible shims may need to be added
to the outside of the facade frame to prevent the facade frame from separating
and interfering with the blower control door.
3. If you are planning to install a non-combustible facing material behind the facade,
install this material before securing the screws. Refer to section 2.4.3 in the manual.
Adjusting the blower door:
The blower door is held closed by a magnet on the right side of the facade.
To adjust the strength or position of the closure, remove or add washers behind the magnet.
