A fall onto a hard surface can result in serious injury  
to the equipment user.
Do not use the equipment until properly assembled.
This rocker is not to be used in any other 
manner other than its intended use.
Adult supervision is required.

It is important for adults to instruct children to:

•   Dress appropriately while using the rocker  

(avoid ponchos, scarves, and other loose-fitting  
clothing that is potentially hazardous). 

•   Wear well-fitting footwear that fully encloses the 

foot when using this rocker. Clogs, flip-flops, and 
sandals are considered inappropriate footwear.

It is important for adults to instruct children NOT to:

•  Walk close to moving rocker.
•  Get off of the rocker while it is in motion.
•  Climb on the rocker when it is wet.
•   Attach additional items to the rocker that might cause  

a strangulation hazard.

Maintaining the Rocker

At the beginning of each play season, adults should:

•  Tighten all hardware.
•   Check all protective coverings on pipes, edges, and 

corners. Replace if they are loose, cracked, or missing.

•   Check all parts for wear, rust, or other deterioration. 

Replace as needed. The hardware used for this 
rocker can be found at a local hardware store.

•   Check metal parts for rust. If found, sand and 

repaint using a non-lead-based paint meeting 
the requirements of 16 CFR 1303.

Twice a month during play season, adults should:

•  Tighten all hardware.
•   Check all protective coverings on pipes, edges, and 

corners. Replace if they are loose, cracked, or missing.

Once a month during play season, adults should:

•   Check all parts for wear or other 

deterioration. Replace as needed.

A

t the end of each play season or when the 

temperature falls below 40°F, adults should:

•  Remove the rocker from its outdoor location.
•  Store the rocker in a dry environment.
•  Spot clean if needed.

Disposing of the Rocker

To dispose of the rocker, first disassemble it. Dispose 
of it in such a way that no unreasonable hazards will 
exist at the time that the rocker is discarded. 
This conforms to ASTM F1148, Consumer Safety Performance 
Specification for Home Playground Equipment.
