Measuring range
The blood pressure monitor shows you the blood
pressure (SYS. = systolic and
DIA. = diastolic value), pulse and the time and date
on the display. Blood pressure is measured in mmHg
(millimetres of mercury).
The classifi cation of blood pressure values is based
on the defi nition and classifi cation by the WHO
(World Health organisation) from 1999. The WHO de-
fi nes high blood pressure as values above 140 mmHg
(systolic value) and 90 mmHg (diastolic value).
Your blood pressure monitor is fi tted with a colour in-
dicator that makes it easier to assess the measured
values.
