Configuring the Touchpad
You may want to configure the touchpad to suit your needs. For example, if you are a left-handed user, you can
swap the two buttons so that you can use the right button as the left button and vice versa. You can also change
the size of the on-screen pointer, the speed of the pointer, and so on. To configure the touchpad, go to Control

Mouse Properties. However, you can install the touchpad driver supplied with
your computer to take advantage of more powerful features.
Caring for the Touchpad
The touchpad is pressure sensitive. If not properly cared for, it can be easily damaged. Take note of the
following precaution:
?
Make sure the touchpad does not come into contact with dirt, liquids or grease.
?
Do not touch the touchpad if your fingers are dirty or wet.
?
Do not rest heavy objects on the touchpad or the touchpad buttons.
?
Do not scratch the touchpad with your finger nails or any hard object.
Note :
The touchpad responds to movement not to force. There is no need to tap the surface too hard. Tapping too hard
does not increase the responsiveness of the touchpad. The touchpad responds best to light pressure.
