4.4 Tag Feature
The HazSim tag function allows instructors to make notes during evolution so teachers can
review with students later to reinforce what they learned or go back to review tricky
concepts and encourage critical thinking. During the evolution a tag can be entered to mark
a specific learning point.
To review the evolution use the drop down list and choose Log Viewer. The log viewer is
saved for the date and time of the evolution and is specific to each meter if using more
than one. Use the drop down menu to select date and client (student). The tags display as
icons on the Log Viewer. On a laptop, open the Log Viewer, select the session, then hover
over the icons at the top of the chart. On mouse hover, the text of the tag will display. The
other icons include if the meter alarmed, as well as graphical representation of the
readings on the meter during the evolution.
