ASSEMBLY AND USE
Note: Pull out the power plug before carrying out
any work on the equipment.
Use only original parts.
The long-shaft hedge trimmer can be used
optionally with or without the middle tubular
shaft.
1. Assembly
a. Assembly of the middle tubular shaft (optional)
1) Remove the cap from the middle tubular shaft. Loosen the
star wheel
2) Pull out the stop pin.
3) Slide the middle tubular shaft onto the tubular shaft on the
appliance housing in a slight rotating movement. When doing
so, the retaining knob locks into place. Fix the two tubular
elements in place with the rotary knob.
b. Assembly of the front tubular shaft
1) Remove the cap on the front tubular shaft. Loosen the star
wheel.
2) Pull out the stop pin.
3) Slide the middle tubular shaft onto the tubular shaft on the
appliance housing in a slight rotating movement. When doing
so, the retaining knob locks into place. Fix the two tubular
elements in place with the rotary knob.
Warning! Only tighten the rotary knob by hand!
The use of maximum manual force will damage
the tubular shaft.
