MAINTENANCE

Cleaning

1.  Always remove the main plug from the wall socket before cleaning the 

appliance.

2.  Never immerse the appliance in water.
3.  You should clean it with a damp cloth.
4.  The carafe, filter and funnel can be washed in hot soapy water.

Descaling

1.  Descale your coffee maker regularly.
2.  Operate the appliance as described earlier in the instructions. Use ordinary 

vinegar to fill the water tank and do not add any ground coffee.

3.  After descaling let the appliance work 2-3 times more with only water to rinse 

away the vinegar and scale remainders. 

Delay start

If you do not want the coffee maker to start operation immediately, you can use 
the delay start function. For example: Now it is 20:10 and you hope that the coffee 
maker will start automatically at 06:15 in the morning, first follow step 1-5 of above 
section, then you can set the delay start function as follows:
1.  Press the SET button one time, the icon ” ” is shown on the display.Set the 

current time (real clock) by pressing the HOUR and MIN buttons continuously, 
that is 20:10 in this example. 

2.  Press the SET button once again and the icon   is shown on the display. Set 

the delayed start time by pressing the HOUR and MIN buttons repetitively, that 
is 06:15 in this example.

3.  Press the SET button for a third time to set the automatic shutdown time. The 

icon   is shown on the display. Set the automatic shutdown time by pressing 
the MIN button (maximum 40 minutes).

4.  At the fourth press of the SET button, the coffee maker confirms all settings. 

Note: 

You can press the SET button twice after you have finalized the settings, 

to check them. 

Note: 

If no buttons are pressed within 5 seconds, the settings will be 

confirmed. 

Note: 

You can change to 12 hour mode by pressing and holding the HOUR 

button for 7 seconds when the hour has been set to 23:00. The display will 
change to 12 hour mode and show “AM ” on the upper right corner, or “PM” 
on the lower right corner. When the hour is set to 11:00 PM, and the HOUR 
button is pressed and held, the display will change to 24 hour mode.
