OPERATION

Before first use

For a perfect taste, carry out 2 or 3 boil-processes with fresh water (without
coffee). Once all the water has passed through, switch off the appliance and let
it cool down for 5 minutes. Then repeat the process with fresh water.

Making coffee

1.  Open the top cover and fill the water tank with the required quantity of water.

Ensure that the water level is not lower than the minimum mark, and not higher
than the maximum mark. Use fresh, cold water for best taste.

2.  Insert a filter of size “1x4” into the funnel. You can use the washable filter

provided, or a paper filter. If you use a paper filter, put it directly in the funnel
and skip the washable filter included.

3.  Add coffee powder into the filter. Usually a cup of coffee need a level spoon of

coffee powder, but you may adjust according to personal taste. Then close the
top cover.

4.  Place the carafe on the heating plate.
5.  Connect the power cord into a wall outlet. The display will show ”0000”.
6.  Press the ON/OFF button to start the appliance (the coffee maker makes a

sound to indicate the start). It will start the brewing process immediately.

Note:

You can take out the carafe, pour and serve at any time. The appliance

will stop dripping automatically. But the time cannot exceed 30 seconds.

7.  When the brewing process is finished, the coffee can be kept warm on the

heating plate before the appliance automatically turns off. The coffee maker is
automatically turned off in 40 minutes after start, which means that the keep
warm time will be approx. 0-36 minutes depending on how much coffee you
are brewing. Before it turns off it makes a sound.

8.  Turn off the appliance by pressing the ON/OFF button and unplug the power

cord from the wall outlet.

Note:

If you have made a cup of coffee and wish to make some more straight

away, switch off the coffee maker and allow it to cool down for at least 5
minutes. Then you can refill the water tank and start a new brewing process.

Note:

The coffee you get is less than the water you have added, as some

water is absorbed by coffee ground.

9.  Always turn off the coffee maker and unplug the power cord from the electrical

outlet when the coffee maker is not in use.
