TROUBLESHOOTING
Sharpen the mowing blade at the end of the mowing season or if required,
replace it with a new one.
Always have the mowing blade re-sharpened or replaced at an authorized
repair facilty.
Unbalanced blades will cause the lawn mower to vibrate excessively - Repair is
required!
After mowing, clean the unit thoroughly. Store the unit in a dry location, allowing
the motor to cool down beforehand. To reduce storage space, the upper handle
can be folded down. Loosen the quick release levers and fold the handle down.
Caution:
Do not trap or pinch the electric cable when folding down the handle.
Storing the unit
Before performing any maintenance or cleaning work, always pull out the
mains plug and wait until the blade has come to a standstill.
1) Motor does not run:
--- Check mains connection cable and circuit breaker (fuse).
--- Start on short grass or on an area which has already been mowed.
--- Clean discharge channel/housing(the mowing blade must rotate freely).
--- Correct the cutting height.
2) Motor power drops:
--- Increase the cutting height.
--- Clean discharge chute.
--- Have mowing blade resharpened /replaced (customer service centre).
3) Grass catcher is not filled sufficiently
--- Correct the cutting height.
--- Allow the lawn to dry.
--- Have mowing blade resharpened /replaced (customer service centre).
--- Clean the grille on the grass catcher.
--- Clean the discharge chute.
Warning – Always wear protective gloves during maintenance operations.
Do not carry out maintenance when the engine is running or hot.
Warning – Use only original manufacture’s replacement parts,
accessories and attachment. Failure to do so can cause possible injury,
and poor performance.
