SPEED ADJUSTMENT
Refer to Figure 14
To avoid damaging the drive belts and pulleys, DO NOT
turn speed control knob unless the motor is running.
The speed range is 500 RPM to 3000 RPM. To increase
speed, turn the knob counterclockwise. To lower speed,
turn the knob clockwise. The speed will display on the
digital read-out panel.
DRILL BIT INSTALLATION
Refer to Figure 15
• Insert the chuck key. Rotate counterclockwise to loosen
the chuck jaws so that the opening is slightly larger than
the bit size you intend to use.
• Insert the smooth end of drill bit all the way into the
chuck. Slightly pull back the drill bit by 1/16”. If the spiral
groove (flute) of drill bit is still inside the chuck, pull
further until the spiral groove is free from chuck
jaws’ grip when tighten.
• Turn chuck key clockwise to tighten the chuck jaws.
Check to see the drill bit is centered and secure in the
chuck.
• Remember to remove chuck key before operating the
machine.
LASER ALIGNMENT ADJUSTMENT
Refer to Figure 16
• Check the laser alignment to ensure the intersection of
laser lines is precisely at the spot where the drill bit
meets the workpiece. If it is not, loosen the laser
adjustment screws which allow for the adjustment of the
laser lens by rotating to the intersection point.
• Mark an “X” on a workpiece to mark a drilling point.
• Align the drill bit tip to the intersection of the lines of the
“X”.
• Secure the workpiece on the table.
• Turn on laser and verify if the laser lines align with the
“X”.
• If it is not, loosen the laser alignment screws with a
Phillips head screwdriver.
• Adjust the lasers by turning the red laser lens caps to
align the beams to the intersection of the “X”.
• Retighten the screws to secure laser position.
