Fill with fuel if necessary.

Remove the access cap for the fuel feed pump.

Actuate the manual lever (1) on the fuel feed pump until the fuel
audibly flows back into the fuel tank through the return line (2).

Install the access cap again.

Requirements

Pre-pumping of fuel with the manual fuel pump is necessary in the following
situations:

▪ Engine shuts down due to empty fuel tank

▪ at first filling of the fuel tank

▪ after changing the fuel filter
