IMPORTANT:

It is very important to note that once the HDE-100 Exporter is properly connected
and configured, the following HDx-FM settings on the Output Setup page 1/4
must be made for normal HD operation.

3.6.7

BoostPro Response

The BoostPro front panel LED will turn red if a fault condition is detected. Press INFO,
then FAULT SUBMENU to view a listing of statuses where the malfunction would be
indicated by the word FAULT. Refer to "6.2.1 Boost Pro Fault Indication" on page 6-3.

To reset the fault, press INFO, then CONTROL SUBMENU, move cursor to point to
RESET FAULT. Press ENTER to clear the fault status. If the fault indication is still
present, the condition causing the malfuntion will need to be identified and corrected.

3.6.8

Manual "RF Source" Switching

Due to the many possible configurations of HDx-FM, DIGIT, BoostPro, and legacy
exciters, the term RF Source is used to indicate a RF drive source.

For dual RF source configurations, the on-air source, if so equipped, can be switched
manually using the RF Source Status Screen in the Diagnostics Display. To manually
switch from RF Source 1 to RF Source 2, press [HOME, STATUS, A, D]. This will
bring up the screen shown in Figure 3-12. Pressing [D] will toggle between the two
sources.
