Reducing Clearances
The
‘
rear clearance
’
(100mm) and
the
‘
flue centre to rear
wall
’
(327mm) can be safely
reduced to
65mm
and
292mm
respectively, without the use of a
heat shield as described in AS/NZS
2918:2001.
We recommend the clearances as
shown in this diagram are used for
ease of servicing and maintenance,
as reducing the clearances may
make it more difficult, but not
impossible to carry out these tasks.
