Abnormal vibration
• Loose or out of balance
impeller
• Loose engine.
• Loose belt.
• Check impeller and replace if
necessary.
• Check engine and tighten
down as needed
• Check belt and adjust pullies
as needed to tighten belt.
Poor vacuuming performance • Nozzle buried in debris.
• Clogged inlet or outlet.
• Excessive debris.
• Remove nozzle from debris.
• Unclog inlet or outlet (pg. 8).
• Allow air to feed the debris.
Engine will not start (starter
does not turn over)
Engine will not start (starter
turns over)
• Battery is low or dead.
• Battery cable is disconnect-
ed or terminal is corroded.
• Throttle is off.
• Out of gasoline.
• Bad or old gasoline.
• Dirty air cleaner
• Charge or replace battery.
• Clean cable and terminal
before reconnecting.
• Check the throttle and adjust.
• Add gasoline.
• Emply and then add gasoline.
• Clean or replace air cleaner
Engine is locked (will not turn
over)
• Debris locked against im-
peller
• Engine problem
• See pg. 8 ‘Clogged Housing
or Outlet Spout’.
• Contact Kohler or a Kohler
approved engine specialist.
