V - Technical features HARMONYS OUTDOOR SOUNDER
25
The installation and the maintenance must be performed only by an authorized technician.
The cabinet must be mounted with cable glands at the bottom.
The cabinet is powered by the 110-230 V AC mains. The installation must comply with the IEC
364 standard.
The power supply must come from building installation. The product is designed to withstand
Category II voltage surges. Vpeak max : 2500V.
Provide additional surge protection on the mains supply if necessary.
A readily accessible 16A max. two-pole circuit breaker must be installed in the supply line. This
circuit breaker must switch off the phase and neutral simultaneously.
The various cables must pass through and be clamped in the glands so as not to exert stress
on the terminals. In addition, the conductors of a same circuit must be attached to each other
near the terminal block in order to avoid a possible short circuit in case one of the wire should
come loose.
Feed the Ethernet cable through the 3-inputs cable gland before crimping the RJ45 connector. If
the connector is already crimped to the cable, split the sealing grommet to let the cable through.
