RDM
Using an RDM-compliant DMX controller such as Martin® M-PC, you can communicate with the VDO
Dotron dots on the DMX data link via RDM. You can:
• Retrieve data from dots
• Set the DMX addresses of the dots and set their DMX mode
• Reset dots
To use Martin® M-PC, connect a PC running this application to the data link using the Martin® M-DMX
USB/DMX interface box.
The VDO Dotron responds to the RDM parameter IDs listed in Table 1.
