USB cable be used to connect the DAL 150 and the computer. A longer cable
(up to five meters) may be used to connect the DAL 150 to your audio system.
3, Connect the other end of the coaxial cable to a coaxial digital input on your AV
receiver or surround processor.
4, Make any needed adjustments to associate the digital input used with the
source name on the receiver or processor. Consult the instructions for your audio
system for further instructions on configuring digital inputs.
6, Using HK DAL 150
Once the DAL 150 is connected to both your computer and audio system, and all
necessary drivers and the Windows Media Player are properly installed,
operation of the DAL 150 is simple. Only a few setup adjustments are required
and once they are made operation is easy.
When the DAL 150 is connected to your computer, the “hk” icon will appear in the
Systray (task bar) that is in the lower right corner of your screen. You may
operate the DAL 150 directly from the Systray or from a menu that appears on
your screen. Both methods of operation use identical commands and either may
be used, depending on your preference.
To use the Systray menu, place your cursor over the “hk” icon on the Systray and
right click. A menu listing will appear. Select the desired command option from
the list by clicking on your desired choice.
To use the Full menu, locate the hk icon in the Systray and double click on it.
Note that the appearance of the Systray may differ, depending on the operating
system in use.
