VOLCANIC CINDER PLACEMENT 

The black volcanic cinders are used to cover the fireplace floor, fittings and tubing around the 
burner system.  Although not functional, the back cinders act as a picture frame to show off the 
glowing embers and yellow flame.

COAL INSTALLATION 

1.  Install the short and long base pieces on the tabs with two coal pieces between them. 

(Fig 1) 

2.  Install 6 coal pieces on top of the base pieces. (Fig 2)
