Step 6: Mount the awning
When all the fixtures are attached the awning should be hung up.
NOTE:
At least two adults are required, each on a stable stepladder or similar, for installation.
1.
Hang the awning up on the fixtures as shown in the pictures and fix it in place with the
accompanying round-headed screws.
2.
Screw the nuts onto the screws and tighten.
• If it is not possible to insert the rectangular tubes into the fixtures, loosen the expansion
bolts’ nuts on the fixtures and try again. Move the awning backwards and forwards slightly
so that the tubes slide into place in the fixtures. Then tighten the expansion bolts’ nuts using
a 17 mm Allen key.
NOTE:
Always tighten the expansion bolts’ nuts once the awning has been placed on the fixtures.
• After installation, remove the band that prevents the awning from being extended. Save the
band for use if the product should be put into storage.
NOTE:
Improper installation and/or use causes risk of serious injury. If you are not sure whether the
chosen installation location is suitable or if you are not sure whether you understand all parts of the
assembly instructions, seek professional assistance.
