SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Carefully read the instructions before use!
Save them for future reference.
• Do not dip the wallpaper stripper in liquid
or rinse with water.
• Only use the wallpaper stripper for its
intended application.
• Check that the rated voltage for the
wallpaper stripper corresponds to the
mains supply voltage before connecting.
• Check that the power cord is intact.
• Do not use the wallpaper stripper if it is
damaged.
• The wallpaper stripper is not a toy. Do not
allow children to play with it.
• Never leave the wallpaper stripper
unattended when in operation to ensure
that children or animals do not come into
contact with it.
• Unplug the wallpaper stripper from the
mains to clean.
• Never pull the power cord. Hold the plug
when disconnecting the wallpaper
stripper from the power point.
• Repairs must only carried out by an
authorised service centre.
• A damaged power cord must only be
replaced by an authorised electrician.
• The wallpaper stripper must not be used
in areas where flammable liquids are
stored or where there are flammable
fumes/gas.
• Store the wallpaper stripper in a dry place
when not in use.
• Disconnect the wallpaper stripper from
the power point and wait for at least 2
minutes before filling or emptying.
• The heater must not be tilted when in use.
It must stand on a completely flat surface.
• Do not attempt to move the heater by
pulling the hose.
• Only move the heater by lifting it with its
handle. Other parts get very hot.
• Do not point the steam plate at any part
of the body. Risk of dangerous steam.
• Do not block the pressure relief valve.
• Do not use the wallpaper stripper near
electric cables or switches. Risk of
dangerous electric shock.
• Do not fill with water when the tank is
pressurised.
• Always wait for at least two minutes
before removing the filler plug in order to
top up with water and after finishing work
(risk of scalding and burns).
• This appliance can be used by persons
with reduced physical, sensory or mental
capabilities or lack of experience and
knowledge if they have been given
supervision or instruction concerning use
of the appliance in a safe way and
understand the hazards involved. Children
shall not play with the appliance.
• The appliance shall not be left unattended
while it is connected to the supply mains.
• The filling aperture shall not be opened
during use.
• The appliance is not to be used if it has
been dropped, if there are visible signs of
damage or if it is leaking.
• Keep the appliance out of reach of
children when it is energized or cooling
down.
• Liquid or steam not directed towards
equipment containing electrical
components.
• Appliance to be unplugged after use and
before user maintenance.
