6.  Place Light into Mounting Pad 

and use Screws (4) or (5), 
Spring Washers (3), and Lock Nuts (2) 
to secure Light to mounting area.

a.  Installations with access to the 

back of the Mounting Base, use 
M6 Screw (4) with Lock Nut (2).

b.  Installations with no access to 

the back of the Mounting Base, 
use Self Tapping Screw (5) 
and Spring Washer (3).

7.  Install a switch (sold separately) 

inside the vehicle cabin in 
a convenient location.

8.  Install a relay (sold separately) 

by drilling or locating a mounting 
hole and securing it using a sheet 
metal screw (sold separately).

Note:

  Install relay with terminals facing 

down and higher than the wiring.  This 
reduces the possibility of water entry.

CAUTION!

  Waterproof all 

wiring connections.

9.  Ensure that switch and light wire 

connections to the relay are secure.

10.  Attach the red wire(s) to a 

5 amp fuse

 

(sold separately) and wire the other 
side of the fuse to the positive battery 
terminal.  The fuse should be as 
close as possible to the battery.

11.  Attach the black wire(s) to the 

negative battery terminal.

CAUTION!

  Before connecting 

wires to a battery, ensure that the 
switch is at the ‘Off’ position.

12.  Use wire ties (sold separately) to 

secure the wires to the vehicle and/
or bundle the excess wire together.

13.  Re-attach the vehicle battery 

cables, positive and negative.

WARNING!

  

TO PREVENT SERIOUS 

INJURY AND FIRE:

  Connect 

wires with the correct polarity.
