OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS (continued)
9. Connect either the Two Tier Fountain Head (4) or the Water Bell Fountain Head (5) to
the telescopic end of the Riser Tube (7).
10. The Riser Tube (7) comes with a Diverter Connector (8) to shut off the flow of water on
the side of the outlet. To activate the Diverter (8), turn the Diverter counterclockwise
until it clicks.
See Figure 3.
11. Connect the Hose (9) to the Fountain Pump (2).
12. Connect the other end of the Hose (9) to the Flow Regulator (6) with a Hose Clamp
(not provided).
Use a caulking compound
(caulk not provided)
around the con-
nection of the hose to prevent the from hose disconnecting.
7.
Once the hole is dug and the Large Pool (3) is in place, stack rocks toward the back
of the pond and place the smaller Decorative Tray (10). Be sure it is level. Stagger
the second Decorative Tray with Hole (11) above the first Decorative Tray (10) so that
the water will flow from one Tray to another and then into the pool. (about 5 inches
between).
See Figure 4 on page 12.
If the Trays are not level the water will not flow
evenly. You want the water to cascade down and NOT sit stagnant in the Trays.
8.
Put the Hose (9) into the hole in the upper Tray with Hole (11). Use a sealant com-
pound (not provided) around the hole in the Tray (11) to prevent leakage. Allow the
compound to dry before filling with water. The other end of the hose will be connected
to the Pump (2). Conceal the Hose as best you can with foliage and rocks but do not
crimp.
See Figure 2.
