Camera Maintenance
TO pREVENT SERIOUS INJURy FROM ELECTRIC SHOCk:
Unplug the power Adapter from its electrical outlet
before inspection, maintenance, or cleaning.
1.
pERIODICALLy,
inspect the general
condition of the Camera. Check for:
• loose hardware,
• damaged cord/electrical wiring,
• cracked or broken parts, and
• any other condition that may
affect its safe operation.
2.
pERIODICALLy,
wipe external surfaces
of Camera with clean cloth.
3. Maintain area surrounding Camera,
making sure obstacles don’t interfere with
visibility, such as overgrown bushes.
Troubleshooting

Receiver does not
display image.
1. Camera disconnected.
2. Camera out of range of Receiver.
3. AV Button on back is pressed.
1. Check power to Camera.
2. Relocate Camera and/or Receiver.
3. Press AV button on back.
Picture is white.
Camera pointing at strong light source.
Reposition Camera.
Picture is choppy.
1. Obstructions between
Camera and Receiver.
2. Frame rate too low.
1. Remove obstructions between
Camera and Receiver.
2. Increase frame rate.
Cannot access
the menu.
1. System is recording.
2. Motion detection is on.
1. Stop recording.
2. Stop motion detection.
"Err" appears
on the screen.
SD card error.
Turn Receiver off, remove and reinsert
SD card, then turn receiver back on.
Note: If "Err" still appears, reformat
the card or use a different one.
