that common sense and caution are factors which cannot be built
into this product, but must be supplied by the operator.

Unpacking

When unpacking, check to make sure the following parts are included.

(1) Mini laser level
(1) Tripod
(3) 1.5V AG13 button cell batteries
(1) Instruction booklet

If any parts are missing or broken, please call Harbor Freight Tools at the number
on the cover of this manual.

Assembly

1.

To install batteries, unscrew the On/Off switch assembly, and insert three (3)

1.5v batteries (included). Be sure to install the batteries matching the polarity
marked in the battery compartment.

2.

This level may be used with or without the tripod. To install or remove the

tripod, thread the tripod stud located on the tripod head into the bottom of
the level. The tripod swivels 360 degrees, and may be tilted at up to 90
degrees vertical. If using the tripod, adjust it as desired, and lock the level
into place using the thumb screw located on the tripod head.

3.

The tripod legs may be extended and locked into place to provide greater

working height or to compensate for an uneven surface.
