When unpacking your Magnetic Base, check to make sure the following parts are included.  If any parts are

Dial in “OFF” position

7.                      5/16” Adjustment Bushing                      1  

Note: Part# 7 (5/16” Adjustment Bushing) fits into part# 5. It will allows you to clamp 5/16” stem dial 
indicators. Without the bushing it will clamp 3/8” stem dial indicators. The bushing is held in place with a 
small hex stud.
