Operation

Note:  Before riding each time, make sure all of the hardware is securely fastened.

1.  Properly position the seat so that your feet comfortably reach the pedals.
2.  Keep your feet under the pedal straps on the pedals.

Gear Shifting
3.  To move forward,  you must move the shift lever forward (See FIGURE 1).  Begin pedaling.
4.   To  move  backwards,  you must  move  the shift  lever  all the  way  back.    Begin  pedaling
backwards.
5.  To stay in Neutral, you must keep the shift lever in the middle position.

Brake Operation
6.  When you pull up both the Brake Lever and the Parking Swing (See FIGURE 3) the brake
will be locked on.  Always leave the Go Cart in this position when parking to avoid sudden
rolling which can cause accidents and injury.
7.  To release the parking break, pull just the Brake Lever up until it releases the parking brake
system.
8.  When driving, just pull gently upward on the Brake Lever when you want to stop.

Maintenance

Note:  Make sure the parking brake is engaged during all maintenace operations.

1.  Check the tire pressure before each ride.
2.  Clean all dirt or debris off of the Drive Train (#8) after each ride.
3.  Periodically lubricate the Chain with a high quality bicycle chain lubricant.
4.  Check that all of the hardware is securely fastened.
5.  Always store the Go Cart with the parking brake engaged.
