QUICK START GUIDE: M100-BT

SETTING UP / HELPFUL TIPS

•  Make sure the Power Switch is off.
•  Turn HIGH and LOW knobs to center, and all other knobs to minimum.

CONFIGURING THE SPEAKERS

•  Connect one speaker to each speaker output jack, using the included

speaker cables.

•  Stereo operation: ensure the Speaker Mode button is in the up state,

and position the speakers standing vertically or on speaker poles to
address your audience.

•  Monitor operation: when the Speaker Mode button is in the

down state, the first speaker should be positioned vertically to face
your audience, and the second speaker should be placed horizontally
on the floor, angled up toward the performer.

CONNECTING AUDIO INPUTS & OUTPUTS

•  Connect microphones, acoustic guitars, or other mono sources to CH1

and CH2 jacks.

•  Connect stereo sources to CH3-4 STEREO jacks for Left/Mono, Right

and Aux as desired. (All these input jacks can be used at once, along
with Bluetooth audio input.)

•  The Stereo Out provides a mix output appropriate for recording or

feeding another sound system.

CHECK SWITCHES

•  Check that the Speaker Mode button is set correctly.
•  Check that CH1 and CH2 switches match sources: Mic for

microphones, Guitar for acoustic guitar or pedal board output, Line for
mixers, keyboards and other electronics.

POWERING UP

•  Power on any devices connected to input jacks before powering on

the M100-BT.

•  Turn up the output volumes of all those sources.
•  Turn up the M100-BT Master Level knob to set overall volume for both

speakers in stereo mode, or speaker 1 in Monitor mode.

•  If Monitor mode is used, turn up Monitor Level knob to set

volume for speaker 2.

•  Turn CH1, CH2 and CH3-4 STEREO LEVEL knobs to desired levels.

BLUETOOTH AUDIO INPUT

•  From your Bluetooth audio source device, look for M100-BT and

select it.

•  See page 3 for Bluetooth Troubleshooting in case of difficulty.

CHECK LED LIGHTS

•  Power/Clip LED lights white when power is on
•  If Power/Clip LED lights red, turn down the Master Level knob to avoid

distorted sound

•  If a Peak LED lights red, turn down the associated Level knob.

Either speaker cabinet can be laid sideways as a Floor Monitor, or used free-standing,
or mounted on a standard speaker pole. Speaker stand not included

Note that in Monitor mode, the Monitor speaker will be tuned
for reduced low frequencies, to minimize rumble and potential for
microphone feedback
