Cleaning the front of the
appliance
WARNING!
Risk of electric shock!
Improper use of this appliance may lead to
electric shocks.
■
Prior to cleaning, switch off the appli-
ance, pull out the mains plug and switch
off the fuse.
■
Never spray the device with a water jet
(high-pressure cleaner).
NOTICE
Risk of damage!
The seals of the door are sensitive to oil and
grease. The door seals can be damaged by
unsuitable cleaning agents.
■
Do not use harsh, aggressive, sol-
vent-based or abrasive cleaners.
■
Do not grease the door seals.
If water gets into the lock, the lock and the
electric components in the door may be-
come damaged.
■
Use a damp cloth to clean the inner edg-
es of the door.
■
Do not use any cleaning sprays.
1. Wipe the front of the unit with a damp
cloth and a little all-purpose cleaner and
wipe it dry.
2. Clean the door seal and the inside of the
door regularly with a damp cloth.
Cleaning the filters
NOTICE
Risk of damage!
Using the dishwasher without the fi lters or
with improperly fi tted fi lters can cause the
dishwashing performance to be impeded
or may damage the device.

Prior to starting a programme, always
make sure that the fi lters have been cor-
rectly installed in the appliance.
■
Clean the fi lters at least once a week.
■
Clean the fi lters with care; do not bend
them.
■
If you replace the fi lters, always use gen-
uine replacement parts.
Remove any food scraps out of the coarse
filter, the main filter and the fine filter.

1. Empty and take out the lower dish rack
(23).
2. Turn the coarse filter to the left and re-
move the filters (16) in an upward direc-
tion.
3. Carefully clean the filters (16) under run-
ning water.
4. Reinsert the filters (16) and turn to the
right until they lock into place.
