Switch off the toaster and
pull out the mains plug be-
fore cleaning.

Do not immerse the toaster
and mains plug in water.
■
Do not use a steam cleaner
to clean it.

The toaster becomes hot dur-
ing use. The metal parts in
particular remain hot even
after the appliance has been
turned off.

Allow the toaster to cool
before cleaning.

Improper handling of the

in water or other liquids to
clean it.

Do not use a steam cleaner
to clean it. This could dam-
age the toaster.

Do not use any solvent,
caustic or abrasive cleaning
products (e.g. oven or grill
spray) or cleaning uten-
sils (e.g. scouring pads) to
clean the appliance. These
can scratch the surface of
the appliance.

Thoroughly dry all parts af-
ter cleaning.
